I started writing you this missive from the Oregon Coast, where I was on a family vacation, with both of my adult children and their families (five grands, four of them of the male persuasion) and our dear BFFs from Denver with their four kids and two grandchildren. Besides sitting on the sand at our specially constructed wind breaks all day where we read, chat, stare at the ocean, read some more, and build sand castles and jump waves, there were riotous Happy Hours and lots of delicious food. (Except I’m doing Noom. Hahahaha. No, really, I am. It’s a pretty easy program to follow, even while on vacation.)
I finally know the title of the book I'm looking forward to reading soon. Your writing entertains and informs me, and I look forward to the novella and all of your future releases!
The Oregon coast is gorgeous! And the area around Gold Beach is popular with retirees. (Just read on your blog you're looking at that in a few years.) So come visit again!
I had an opportunity some years back to spend a few days at Gold Beach. What a beautiful place and a wonderful beach. We did a lot of sightseeing and had a wonderful, restful and relaxing few days. In another life, I can see myself choosing to live there forever.
That typewriter. Wow. (Envy is just flying all about.)
I'm excited to read The Bonne Chance Bakery! I'm very much in need of something charming, and soon.
Also, I love the new newsletter. I'm looking forward to learning more about this platform.

I know, don't you adore typewriters?
And I'm so happy that you're excited about The Bonne Chance! Thank you, thank you, it will be here soon.
So far, I am loving Substack. It feels like a great combination of an email newsletter and blogging as it was back in the old days.
Thanks, Beverly, you are the best! Someday soon I'll be returning the favor for you.
